Halloween Candy Safety

Although the odds of coming across tampered candy is extremely rare, it’s still very important to check each and every piece of candy your child brings home tonight. I found this really great video that tells you what to do, what to keep, and what to toss!

I know my daughter can’t wait for tonight and Monkey just doesn’t know what he’s in for yet but he’s going to be SO excited when he realizes that all he has to do is smile and hold up his Elmo candy bucket and people will put candy in there. I might have to catch the first few houses on video camera as it just might be an “America’s Funniest Home Videos” kind of moment with him.

Have fun tonight trick-or-treating with your children!

Happy Halloween! Yes unfortunately we still have some crazies out there. My youngest is so excited about wearing her “not so girly” costume this year, will definately have to take the video camera with me!
Didn’t know the dentist recommends eating the candy all at once…sort of makes sense though.

My little girl wouldn’t wear her costume until she went trick or treating with her aunt and she realized she could get candy. She didn’t wear it very long tonight but at least I got a picture. Happy Halloween.

I have an award for you!
