Let’s Get Ready For Kindergarten & First Grade! Review & Giveaway

I can remember when I was trying to get my daughter ready for Kindergarten. We had books and workbooks of all different kinds throughout our home. The school she was getting ready to attend wasn’t necessarily worried about where she was in her learning process but we certainly were! I wanted to be sure that she knew everything she was supposed to know by that time and if anything maybe even ahead of the game so school wasn’t frustrating for her.
Stacey Kannenberg introduced me to this great book that she and Linda Desimowich wrote to help prepare children for Kindergarten. The book is titled Let’s Get Ready For Kindergarten! This book is amazing and includes EVERYTHING your kids need to learn before and during Kindergarten such as; the alphabet (uppercase and lowercase), letter recognition, colors, shapes, counting, number recognition, opposites, rhyming, telling time, and so much more! The pictures are happy and colorful and your kids will love learning with the Cedar Valley Kids. My two and a half year old absolutely loves Let’s Get Ready For Kindergarten! and is already trying to count now thanks to the awesome curriculum that is included in this book. Let’s Get Ready For Kindergarten! is intended for children between the ages of 2 to 6. This is a must-have for those of us with young children getting ready for school and I highly recommend having these great learning books in your home.
My daughter was excited to receive the Let’s Get Ready For First Grade! book that was made for children between the ages of 5 and 8. Once again it includes the curriculum to help prepare your child for first grade as well as curriculum that you can use to practice and learn during the first grade and beyond. I actually have to say I think this book is great and covers a lot more than just the first grade curriculum. It also includes a lot of things that my daughter is currently learning and perfecting even in the second grade such as counting money, graphs, fractions, addition and subtraction, odd and even numbers, measuring, punctuation, word families, and lots more.
While these books encourage your children to learn, I also love that it encourages you to sit down with your children and spend quality time with them. It is no wonder why these great educational books are award winning!
