I’m LOVING my new camera!
I’ve been begging for a digital SLR camera for quite awhile now. I was more than thrilled when I finally found a good enough bribe to make my hubby cave and agree to get one (of course it was only because we got our taxes back.. and the bribe IS a pretty good bribe LOL). Anyways, I’m SO stinking happy we finally got one! It is a pain in the rear to get the hang of using but it’s so worth it. My pictures of the kids have already improved drastically and this is only after 2 weeks with my Nikon D60. I’m so happy. I feel like I definitely chose the right camera for me now.
The colors are just so much brighter and more true to life and everything is so much clearer. I’m wishing I’d gotten one sooner! I can’t wait to get even better at using it. I hope you’re all prepared for the billion pictures I’ll be taking at Blogher in July now. If you’re anywhere near me you might go blind from the flash. But if you’re unable to go this year I will be posting lots of updates and lots of pictures as well so be sure to check back during Blogher 09.

I love the pics! Enjoy your new camera! As a scrapbooker, my family is always watching for the flash, My cats even squint when they see the camera. Perhaps I should lay off a bit…..nah!

Oh, I love my sweet Canon Digital Rebel Xti SLR! My pictures have drastically changed for the better. Now, if only I would learn to NOT TAKE SO MANY picture and give myself some time to actually upload and develop some of these memories!
