I SPY A to Z: A Book of Picture Riddles – 5 winners!

Submitted by Miranda on June 15, 2009 – 4:25 pm252 Comments

I SPY A to Z: Book of Picture RiddlesMy kids and I have always loved the I SPY books from Scholastic so when we heard that Scholastic just released their new I SPY book, I SPY A to Z: Book of Picture Riddles, we were thrilled. My children enjoy these books for their colorful and creative images and they love the challenge of finding each tiny little item within the pictures. Something that I really love about the I SPY books is that while they’re perfect for reading and playing with while I’m spending some quality time with the kids, they’re also easy enough for the kids to just sit down and have some quiet play time by themselves.

I’m so excited about this new addition to the I SPY collection because it’s not only fun but it’s also educational. You’ll find that it’s a great tool for helping your young children learn to read because it contains picture clues, repetition, rhyming, and phonics. With that being said all ages will enjoy I SPY A to Z: A Book of Picture Riddles for all of the bright and happy pictures as well as the engaging rhymes and the catchy rhythm. Here’s a small paragraph taken from the I SPY A to Z book for example:
I Spy an airplane, a yellow sail, a watermelon, and a lobster’s tail.

Easy-to-read riddles by Jean Marzollo are paired with forty-six object-filled photographs by Walter Wick to create I Spy A to Z, the most engaging alphabet book ever! With more than thirty titles and 36 million books in print, the I Spy series continues to win the hearts and minds of parents and kids everywhere.
