Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits For Nintendo DS

Submitted by Miranda on July 2, 2009 – 9:10 pmOne Comment

Guitar Hero game bundleMy daughter has been attached to her Nintendo DS for almost 2 weeks now. Why, you ask? Because Mom Central sent her “The BEST GAME EVER!” Those were her exact words. She was so excited when Mom Central first asked us to review Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits for Nintendo DS that she couldn’t wait to tear into the package once it arrived.

To be honest when Guitar Hero for Nintendo DS first came out I thought she might like it but I definitely didn’t expect it to immediately become her “favorite game ever” because I was too busy stocking up on girly games only. Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits for Nintendo DS is surprisingly fun for both girls and boys and is recommended for ages 10 and up because of some strong lyrics. My daughter is quite the little Guitar Hero pro now and enjoys playing through all 28 songs. In fact, she’s so impressed with her Guitar Hero skills she likes to show off and play through all the songs for me. It’s fun to watch her be so into it. I can’t blame her, you get to play guitar for some of the best bands such as Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Weezer, Evanescence and tons of other awesome rock bands. My daughter enjoys growing her fan base, seeing the feedback from them after she plays a song well, and loves when they have a request. A really cool feature on Guitar Hero Modern Hits is that it has the capability of streaming over 70+ songs between all Guitar Hero DS games while using local wireless play and you also have the option of playing multiplayer among other Guitar Hero DS players. We have the Guitar Hero Modern Hits Bundle for Nintendo DS and it’s awesome because with EVERYTHING and then some including; the game, guitar hero guitar grip, 2 different grip skins, a really cool Guitar Hero Pick Stylus, and even some decals to decorate your Nintendo DS. It’s easy to attach everything to your Nintendo DS which I really appreciated because my daughter is able to do it all by herself and she also had a blast decorating her DS with the Guitar Hero decals. I’m surprised at how much fun she’s had with the Guitar Hero Modern Hits game and I’m even shocked at just how well she plays.. maybe that’s because I’m not very good at it. I think it’s not going to be long before she’s requesting ALL of the Guitar Hero games!

If you’re looking for a really fun game that your children won’t become bored with then I recommend Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits. You can find a list of all of the retailers that sale the Guitar Hero games and see all of the games available for purchase on the Guitar Hero website. Here’s some more information about the Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits game:

Featuring a set list comprised of 28 master tracks from influential artists including Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, Tenacious D, The Strokes and Weezer, Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits expands on the innovative Guitar Hero® gameplay on the Nintendo DS by introducing an all-new Fan Request system that challenges players to jam like never before.  Fret board fanatics can once again unleash their inner rock stars anytime, anywhere as they hone their shredding skills and jam to face-melting modern rock tracks from the last five years in Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits.
