I've laughed at most of your comments !!! I have not slept good for along time due to worry, wondering mind, cats, training a new rather large german shepherd puppy of 7 weeks. Just a new addition to our faimly of 3 cats and now 3 dogs, GREAT!!!, and I have 3 kids. Just because they are 22,20 and 19 does not mean I worry less. I actually worry more. I toss and turn all through the night and yes I do take Tynenol PM to help sleep but it only helps for a short term. I am one that you can see turn lights on off, TV on and off ALL NIGHT!!!! My fiance' says "why can't you sleep like a normal person?" My comment is, I told you from the beginning I am not normal!!!!!He is like a cat, falls asleep as soon as his head his the pillow. Must be nice!

Popping over from MamaKats. A tip for you on keeping warm. I have a special fleece lined down comforter that is MINE and mine alone. It's twin size, so it's small enough to just cover my side of the bed UNDER the sheets. So even if he pulls his patented "tuck and roll" maneuver, I stay toasty warm with my own snuggly blanket.

I'm a slow waker too, so my hubs and I have worked out a deal. When the alarm goes off the first time, I get up, take the alarm and go snuggle in the recliner in our family room, then I can hit snooze as many times as it takes to wake me up the rest of the way. That way it doesn't wake him all the way up.

I'm laughing cause right now it's 3am. I'm a napper at this point. Once the kids go to bed I can peruse the blogosphere and catch up. Sometimes that keeps me up til now, other days I've passed out at nine and wake up at four ready for the day to begin. I fall asleep in front of the computer more often than in bed as my husband is now prone to talking rather loudly in his sleep. And while it's hilarious, I'd rather have a few hours of refreshing sleep rather than prodding him into rolling over so that the pillow muffles his voice.

Funniest thing he ever said in his sleep? He seemed to be smiling at sunrise and I was looking at him thinking he was awake. "I love you" I quietly whispered to him, he screeched "Zeek!" (his name) into my face.

I am so lucky- I am the one that snores, chomps and grinds my teeth LOL

My hubby leaves for work at 3am but I am lucky enough that after 13 years I sleep through it.

Sorry you don't sleep like me- a solid rock ;)

You are SO not alone. I'm with you! I could have written #8, as well, if I didn't plan to cover why my dog keeps me awake in my list, instead!
