Lights, Camera, Color! Win a Crayola 150-count Telescoping Crayon Tower!
I’ve never met a child who doesn’t love to color and mine are certainly no exception. We were sent a 150-count Telescoping Crayon Tower and my kids are thrilled. They’ve been wanting to color every evening since I gave it to them and my nine year old is impressed with the huge selection of colors. She’s very much like me and loves anything artistic and handing her a new package of crayons is like handing her a $100 bill- they make her just as happy! There’s just nothing better than a brand new crayon (unless of course you get 150 new crayons). If you’re still on the search for a great gift for the children in your life this would be a great Christmas present for any child that loves arts and crafts.
If you haven’t already heard about it, Crayola has a really cool new application on their website called “Lights, Camera, Color.” It’s the only application of its kind for children and was created to bring online and offline creativity together to inspire kids to color and create in a whole new way! Lights, Camera, Color is an easy to use application and is kid-friendly. It’s easy to download your digital photos, add designs, and turn them into unique customized coloring pages. Kids and moms can try out the application for free online at Crayola.com/colorme at anytime, but a code is required to print out the personalized coloring pages. You can find these codes on specially-marked Crayola crayon boxes. The 48-count Crayola color crayons include a code for 3 months of unlimited prints and 64-count boxes and larger (including the telescoping crayon tower) include a code that is good for 6 months of unlimited prints. My kids are SO excited about the Lights, Camera, Color application and they’ve had a blast printing out pictures of themselves and coloring themselves in funny colors. Not only can they turn pictures of themselves into coloring pages but they can also use the designs within the application to create their own creatures using the “Body Builder” and their own machines using the “Gizmo Gears” application. This is a great way to create their own custom coloring pages and this is such a fun program.. it’s perfect for any budding little artist.
Here´s how kids (and ahem moms) can transform their memories into customized coloring pages:
Upload a new or existing digital photo onto the “Lights, Camera, Color” application at Crayola.com/colorme.
Print out your coloring page or save and send it to Coloring Page Maker to customize with fun graphics.
Choose a background: you can choose from several including a desert, a beach, a haunted house and more.
Add props such as a hat, mustache, wings, etc.
Select words/phrases: “Best Friends,” “Kids Only,” “All Star” to name just a few.
Save and print.
Start coloring your one-of-a-kind creation.
Before:
After:
FUN TIP: You can try out the “Lights, Camera, Color” application for free for one day using the code, PRT77F3S. Warning, you may go crazy turning your pictures into coloring pages for your kids!
WIN IT! Win a Crayola 150-count Telescoping Crayon Tower that includes a “Lights, Camera, Color” code for six-months of unlimited prints.

I have a picture of the two kids in front of our Christmas tree. I was trying to take pictures to get one to include in our Christmas card. My favorite one – although not appropriate for the card – was one where my son was making a goofy face and his sister was looking sideways at him like “you’re going to get in trouble if you don’t knock it off!”.
