Wordless Wednesday: Christmas 2009

I’ve been dying to tell you all but I had to keep it a secret since my daughter sometimes looks at my blog- I was one of the 5 lucky winners at BlogHer to win a NetPal. I saved it so I could give it to my daughter for Christmas and the wait was so worth it. She was extremely surprised and it was by far her favorite gift. Her words after opening it? “Is this a computer? You got me a computer?! Are you serious?! Are you SERIOUS?! I have a computer? I HAVE A COMPUTER! OH THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!”

My son’s favorite gift was his Buzz Lightyear from his grandma. See that look of excitement on his face? It was the best!

And the worst part of course.. the aftermath of Christmas morning. Doesn’t it look like a tornado touched down in my living room?

Wow…what a wonderful surprise! Especially if it was not even on her list! Great job keeping it hush, hush. You can see the excitement on their faces, too cute!

  3. My children’s favorite gifts were the simple ones, who cares about the super cool gaming chair or the Dora Links doll… Let’s play with our Webkinz and Snuggie for days on end.

Seriously though, they haven’t even ASKED me to take any of their toys out of the box, too busy with their little toys.

Rudy absolutely loves his Radio Flyer Big Wheel and Sid the Science Kid doll.

I can’t believe you won a NetPal!!!!! How come you didn’t at LEAST tell me?! That is so cool. You’ll have to let me know how you like it b/c I want to get one for Zach for his 8th birthday this year.

  4. I love watching their little faces. Makes all the craziness of the season worth it.
