Hi, I’m Miranda, writer & editor of Keeper of the Cheerios and founder of the Blogging Parents group. While I’m a mom blogger I’m also a full-time wife to my husband of seven years and mother to two amazingly beautiful children, ages three and nine. I write about my journey through motherhood.. the ups and the downs. My son was diagnosed with moderate to severe hearing loss in 2009 at the age of 3. You could say it was extremely late in the game and that would be an understatement. We’re now busy catching up on 3 years of missed language skills. I recently began homeschooling my daughter after a very long and thought-out process of deciding that the school she was in just wasn’t what she needed and that what would be best for her was something more challenging and the program we’re working with does just that- challenges her.
In addition to writing about motherhood, marriage, and other family related topics, I also love to write about my passions which include crafts, baking, and cooking. Here on Keeper of the Cheerios you’ll also find product reviews and recommendations as well as giveaways for my readers.
You can currently find me working with great companies like White Cloud as one of their 5 White Cloud mom Bloggers. I’ve also worked with Walmart as a More Than Eleven Moms member, Double Duty Divas, Label Daddy Mom Blogger Team. I’ve attended events at Underwriter’s Laboratories, Kmart/Sears, Sara Lee, Orlando CVB, Kruger Paper Mill in Quebec Canada, and my work continues as I have other upcoming media and blogger events. I’m an active part of the blogosphere and you can find me on twitter, Mom Bloggers Club, facebook and other online networks. I also love to meet other bloggers in real life and have attended BlogHer 2009 as well as Blissdom 2010. I’ve found these conferences to be extremely valuable and I really love what I do.
